Humming Page has no accounts and no sign-up. You can listen and read without giving us anything.
If you join the weekly chapter list, we collect your email address and, if you choose, your first name. We only use them to send the weekly chapter. We never sell or share them for marketing. You can unsubscribe anytime, and we will remove your details. Sign-ups are stored with our host, Netlify.
Your settings (text size, dark mode, speed), your reading progress, your place in a chapter, and your reading streak, chapter count and badges are saved only in your own browser's local storage. The reward badges are just for fun: no points, prizes or leaderboards. They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Audio streams from the Internet Archive, and the site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, they may log basic technical data such as IP addresses.
